Rejoice, we are to trust the One who brings us through; more than that, trust in Jesus                         who calls us to change, to become like Him.

Lenten Study Scriptures
Bible Verses on Fear:
Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 56:3-4 – Whenever I’m afraid, I put my trust in you — In God, whose word I praise. I trust in God; I won’t be afraid. What can mere flesh do to me?

2 Timothy 1:7 – For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

1 John 4:18 – There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Psalm 34:4 – I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.

Philippians 4:5-7 – The Lord is near. Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up your requests to God, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus.
