Corn-on-the-cob will be featured along with Pork Barbecue packed buns, Cucumber and Onion Salad, Apple Sauce, Cupcakes and a cold drink at the corn roast to be held from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, August 31 at Leacock Presbyterian Church, 3181 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise – that’s rain-or-shine. The meal will be served on the front lawn of the church; plenty of seating will be provided at the tables. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased in advance @ 687-6619, but are not necessary; everyone is welcome…………..The Old Fashioned Corn Roast is organized by the organ committee with all of the proceeds going toward the cost of the churches’ organ rebuilding project
